between the hours of 9:00AM - 4:30PM
by appiontment, at the
Hubbard county Government Center
301 Court Ave, Park Rapids, MN 2nd Floor
The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdication has been propertly valued and classified by the assessor, and also to determine wheteher corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your Assessor's office at: 218-732-3552 to discuss our concerns.
If you are still not satisified with the valuation or classification afer discussing it with the assessor, you may schedule an Open Book meeting.
The assessment staff shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct if needed. Generally, an appeal with the Open Book format is required by law, before an appeal can be taken to your County Board of Appeal and Equalization, later in June.
